The ELISA Business Scholars Program 2026 is a premier, fully-funded, year-long initiative designed to empower and support high-potential entrepreneurs and startup founders across the African continent. This comprehensive program kicks off with an immersive three-day business experience, providing scholars with the tools and knowledge to advance their business concepts, refine their strategic plans, and ultimately, drive job creation in Africa. Each scholar is paired with a seasoned business leader who serves as a dedicated coach for the entire year, offering monthly virtual guidance and mentorship. The initial training, facilitated by industry experts, is laser-focused on critical business skills, including financial management, the art of the investor pitch, and crafting a compelling elevator pitch.
Eligibility:
- Founders of ventures of any age, from any sector, and of any gender are encouraged to apply.
- The applicant’s business, project, or innovative idea must primarily operate within Africa and contribute to the economic development of an African nation.
- Applicants must be residents of an African country and have the capacity to engage in virtual coaching sessions.
- Please note that alumni of the ELISA Scholars Program are not eligible to re-apply for this opportunity.
