The Green Climate Fund (GCF) Paid Internship Programme 2026

by | Dec 12, 2025

The Green Climate Fund (GCF) offers a paid internship programme designed to provide a unique opportunity for talented individuals to gain first-hand experience in the operations of a global climate finance institution. Interns will contribute to the GCF’s mission of supporting developing countries in their efforts to respond to the challenge of climate change. The programme aims to attract young professionals and students from diverse academic backgrounds, particularly those from developing countries.

Financial Benefits

  • Monthly Stipend: Interns receive a monthly stipend to cover living expenses. The exact amount is determined by GCF policies.
  • Travel Costs: Round-trip airfare to the duty station (Songdo, Incheon, Republic of Korea) may be covered for eligible interns who are not residing in the duty station at the time of selection.
  • Medical Insurance: Interns are covered by the GCF’s medical insurance plan for the duration of their internship.
